Designscapes, LLC was founded by Ryan Shuttlesworth and Tanner Bates in the fall of 2006. We are a complete design/build landscape company covering all aspects of outdoor living. Being a quality oriented landscape company we are constantly striving to be innovative and creative in all that we do. Designscapes is a multi-faceted company dedicated to job execution and the satisfaction of our clients. We offer a large range of residential and commercial landscape services along with design services for small and large scaled projects. We stay competitive by providing affordable service and ensuring individualized attention to every client. Tanner and Ryan proudly represent Designscapes, LLC as both Co-Owners and Co- Operators. Their knowledge, professionalism and dedication help Designscapes serve the West Texas area season after season.

Ryan Shuttlesworth:

Ryan’s passion for the landscape industry started very early when working for his older brother mowing and maintaining lawns during his younger years. Ryan attended Texas Tech University where he studied Landscape Architecture and the science of Horticulture. His passion for the outdoors and creative ability for Landscape Design is a perfect fit for Designscapes.

Tanner Bates:

Tanner’s career began in 1995 where he was employed by a commercial landscape installation crew until his graduated High School. While being enlisted in the Marine Corps, Tanner studied Horticulture with a specialization in Turf Grass Management at Texas Tech University. After his honorable discharge in 2007 Tanner attended a Texas Landscape Irrigator school where he graduated to become a Texas licensed landscape irrigator.
